The Soul of an Athlete

I’m a master. A zen master locked into a mission. The noise won’t distract me from the wish fulfilled. I see it. The future is now. Right now. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – I come to my senses and fully hear the Echoes in the Stadium. My teammates walked up to me and congratulated me on the play. I pause and fall back into a moment, unaware of the noise, as I consume the energy and fade into the Echos in the Stadium. pg. 35
