There was a time not long ago when I felt betrayed by my health. I wasn't sleeping well. I worked out, but I didn't enjoy it much. My life depended on every rep or jogging through the park—that strange feeling of being an observer outside my body, questioning the observer's identity. Like the sudden change in the wind, the clouds move in, blocking the permanent sunlight, followed by the unthinkable. Life takes a complete 180 turn, and that strange feeling of uneasiness felt from years of deteriorating sleep, compounded by chronic back pain, severe seasonal allergies, became emboldened and ripped a gaping hole in a decade-long life of predictability.

These were all manifestations of how I felt – my emotions were talking to me.

This is when it became clear – the statement made by Neville Goddard that life doesn't happen to you, it happens through you. I was knocked on my back. However, I learned from playing football for many years to be comfortable with the view of the sky from lying on my back. I learned over the years to get up. But not just get up, but with a plan in mind. Get up and immediately start executing the plan in your imagination.

See yourself executing the next play successfully. So I did. I hired a life coach to guide my mind through the process of healing and a masseuse to alleviate the physical pain in my body. My community did what they always do: rise to the occasion, reminding me who I am. I was tasked with healing my spirit by unleashing the power that never leaves.

Thanks, Jenni and Shelly, for your expertise and unwavering support. Your guidance has been invaluable in my journey towards healing and personal growth.
